Thanks to the exclusive use of Coratina olives, the Smeraldo is characterized by a very high polyphenol content . Above all, the high polyphenol content gives the Coratina oil an intense, fruity and fresh taste. The smell of the olives is clear and unmistakable, on the palate there are notes of raw fruit and a hint of fresh green almonds.

Scharfer Geschmack. Perfekt geeignet für jede Art von kalten Salaten. Sicher etwas teurer als andere ebenfalls biologisch erzeugte Olivenöle. Ich kaufe es vor allem wegen des hohen Polyphenol-Gehalts.

The taste is great but for me it’s really all about the polyphenol content. The research is so compelling on the health benefits and this oils polyphenol content is consistently over 1000mg/kg year after year. I found it after seeing them win the platinum award for health benefits at the London olive oil awards where the oil was independently lab tested.
